EMAC Insights Book series

We are proud to announce that EMAC is adding another publication to our portfolio – the EMAC Insights Book Series in collaboration with Springer Nature Switzerland as publisher.

The EMAC Insights Book Series aims at publishing three types of content:

  1. selective, best papers from the EMAC Annual (Spring) Conference and EMAC Regional (Fall) Conference (about 10-20 papers selected out of 600-800 submissions);
  2. practitioner-oriented books on topics of relevance for marketing with a European focus;
  3. textbooks.

Best Paper Selection from Conferences

One book per year will be devoted to the best papers from the EMAC Annual (Spring) or EMAC regional (Fall) conferences. The chairs of each track will select up to three best papers from all submissions in their track. Book editors, which in most cases will be the conference organizers, complemented by one of the book series editors, will approach the authors of these papers and invite them to submit their full-length articles for publication in the edited book. Only one paper per track will be selected to keep the number of papers manageable and as varied as possible. Papers will then undergo a separate peer review process by the editors of the edited book and published after 1-3 rounds of reviews and acceptable revisions.

Practitioner-oriented books and Textbooks

The Series Editors will send out a call to the EMAC member base, specifically the national representatives and chairs of special interest groups, to ask for proposals for books oriented to practitioners or textbooks. The Series Editors and selected members from the Editorial Board will then review book proposals. Once the review process is finalized, the Series Editors will work with the authors with the aim of ensuring high-quality of the books.

We thank our members and national representatives for sharing their insights into the needs of our membership that have led to this initiative. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards in all our publications and are eager to share our first volume.
